These products are made out of cotton/polyester fabric with a water saving crystal inside small sqaure pockets which form a grid.They cannot be machine washed because of the crystal inside,but they can be hand washed with a mild soap while the covers (see separate page) are machine washable. The crystals are completely ton-toxic to animals . Simply place the mat in water for approx. 10 mins and the mat is ready to use. The animal can become cool without getting wet. The outside fabric will dry,while the crystal remains moist,producing the cool feeling.

The mat will stay cool for up to 5 days before it needs to be re-activated by sunbmersion in water. This will vary with climate and humidity.

Ideal for pets who travel as the mat will sit in the base of the crate and is very lightweight.
